Most guys simply don’t know how to talk to women.  It took me 20 years to finally figure that out.  And the amazing thing is that it wasn’t nearly as complicated as I thought.  I used to think that everything that came out of my mouth had to be clever or funny. I eventually discovered that if you’re able to carry on a decent down-to-earth conversation, and show a bit of confidence, it really doesn’t matter what you talk about (within reason).
