Does a Family Health Insurance Plan Premium Increase With the Addition of a Family Member?
December 19th, 2009 . by adminMy family health insurance plan covers a family with up to 6 members in it. We have been considering adopting a foster child that has lived with us for the last 3 years. This would mean we would have 7 people in our family that need health insurance coverage. So, I have been wondering if my monthly premium will increase and allow all our family members to be covered or would we need to find another health care plan that covers more family members? I really like the plan I have, but if I need to find another to ensure my entire family is covered, I will.
