My Analysis On “Scott Gottlieb: Medicaid Is Worse Than No Coverage at All”
February 20th, 2012 . by adminThis is a little bit nuts. Medicaid (poor) patients do worse than insured patients. It is because the program pays poorly for access so let’s do away with it. Note that Republicans and Tea Partiers trumpet that our health and physical fitness articles care system is the best in the world. What the results actually say is what we in health care already know. There are disparate results depending upon health insurance coverage and the lousier your coverage is the worse you are going to do. Health Reform opens up coverage to everyone via health exchanges. But, the key, as I have written repeatedly is not pay doctors and hospitals by each unit of service they provide, but rather by maintaining health like an HMO.
