The drivers Ralph just installed

January 13th, 2010 . by admin

About a week ago for reasons I can’t explain my desktop locked up and I couldn’t access the Internet nor do any of my work. In a pinch my friend Ralph loaned me one of his laptops. Ralph has like eight computers so for him to loan me one wasn’t a big deal. Before Ralph loaned me the computer he told me a little bit about it. He said that he had just had it serviced and even had some new Windows XP device drivers in the system. This was a good thing because I run XP myself. I would have been in trouble if you had another operating system.

The Magic Of A Mobile VPN

January 10th, 2010 . by admin

A mobile VPN network consists of a wireless network that individuals have access to in various locations instead of the office which is secure. Using a laptop or other device individuals are able to connect to the servers that their office use on a secure network platform. This is highly beneficial to company representatives trying to access their intranet or office network when moving from different locations.

This is great for privacy reasons because hackers and other potential threats are unable to access the files businesses have that need to remain secret. People using a mobile VPN will continue to increase because of the benefits it provides to growing companies.

RIM and its Blackberry are still the dominant forces in the world of mobile e-mail solutions, and have done very well in keeping pace with Microsoft Outlook and Exchange servers.  Enter, the problem and the subsequent need for a solution. The issue is supporting the Blackberry Enterprise Server on Exchange 2010.  Even though BES does not yet support Exchange 2010, innovative Exchange 2010 Migration Consulting companies are dealing with the issue by creating an Exchange 2007 “environment” and then deploying Exchange 2010 in order to provide BES access to Exchange 2010.  If that isn’t enough “tech Greek” for one day then I don’t know what is.  The bottom line being, your Crackberry will continue to work as it always has.
