My dad and I have been best friends for as long as I could remember. My mother has pictures of us hanging out and doing everything together from building a car to building a tree house together. When I was 16 he got me a job through his company and I did all the work no one else wanted to do: clean-up. Now today I finally got promoted and I got new extra large full brim hard hats, and pride from my fathers face. After work my dad and I went home and my mom made us steak and potatoes (my dad’s favorite) and we laughed about how soon enough I will be promoted into his job.
