One of my favorite words is unassuming. I’m not sure why, but the sound of the word, as well as its meaning strikes a pleasant chord with me. For example, my recent car purchase, a colorful blue Cheap Suzuki fits the bill… perfectly. At first glance, the car is rather… unassuming; meaning that its appearance does an incredible job of masking its greatness as both a performance automobile that just happens to get excellent fuel mileage. Yes, my car is unassuming. But its features and benefits once strapped in are not! And so my love affair with the word continues in a powerful way.
